VPI is a Career-Tech course with no Prerequisite; however, preference will be given to students who demonstrate strong work ethics and positive attitudes in their academic classes.

Course Highlights:

Thinking about a career in film or TV production? Ever watch a TV show or film and wonder, “How’d they do that?” Video Productions will help students understand electronic media in a digital world, and allow students to explore film and television as a career.

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere.

VP 2

This course requires work beyond the regular school day.

Video Production 1 (VP1)

Course Highlights:

Video Production II targets students interested in careers in film/TV production. Students learn foundations of film and television production techniques in Hoover’s state-of-the-art studio facility.

Software Used:

Avid Media Composer, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects.

Extra:

VPII students perform technical duties outside of class on numerous full-length entertainment and sports programs produced for NCCS CH.11.

VP 3

Notice:

This course requires student participation beyond the regular school day. Students MUST demonstrate maturity and strong desire to work independently from Instructor on class projects and on the many district/community productions airing on CH.11.

Course Highlights:

This multi-award winning program offers VPIII students a unique opportunity to apply more advanced industry standard film and television production techniques on a variety of single and multi-camera projects.
